CA General Contractor
Dan Spiegel was born in February 1967
in Encino, California. After high-school, Dan began
his professional career in his family’s jewelry
business, creating fine platinum jewelry. It was while
he was refining his craft as a platinum smith that Dan
began “moonlighting” with various construction
jobs. Starting as a laborer, Dan soon found his niche
as a finish carpenter, building fine wood cabinets,
doors, moldings, working with laminates, and even creating
custom furniture. He worked for a time framing houses.
As Dan’s skills developed, he was hired to supervise
projects and crews for high-end residential construction
companies. For several years, he held a foreman position
with a company that specialized in recording studio
remodels and the construction of high-tech custom home
theatres.
Dan obtained a general contractor’s
license in order to venture out on his own. His projects
have included residential additions, remodels and new
custom home construction. Although Dan is knowledgeable
in all trades of construction, he is highly skilled
in finish carpentry, rough carpentry, cabinetry, and
drywall. He has experience working with a variety of
architectural styles including Spanish, Gothic, and
ultra-modern Contemporary.
On a personal note, Dan is an accomplished
golfer, fisherman, scuba diver, snowboarder, and he
enjoys hiking and camping.
