We, at CH Construction, would like to introduce the new premier destination for subcontractors and suppliers searching for construction bid opportunities - CH Construction’s Online Plan Room. In this central location, Plans, Specifications, Addenda, Bid Invitations & Plan holders lists are all available online 24/7, stream-lining the distribution process.

This Plan Room allows owners, architects, and the GC to distribute project information to subcontractors, suppliers, and other members of a project team via the Internet; offering the ability to search, view, order, print and/or download all documents necessary to build your bids for direct submission to us, the GC. The future of online plan rooms is secure, given the benefits the technology offers: increased bidding efficiency on new projects, easy access to all project information throughout the life of the project without ever leaving the office, instant e-mail notification of addenda to existing projects, and quick downloading of construction plans and specifications.

Here, you will be able to review the plans online to see if it is something you are interested in and can download the plans, print them on your own plotter, or request a set of plans from the reprographic house. If you are only interested in a certain portion of the project, you only have to print or order those respective sheets. In addition, revisions are often made to the original set of plans as the project progresses. In the past, that meant outputting sets of revisions and getting them delivered to the subcontractors, not only time-consuming, but costly. This online Plan Room resolves that issue, as an e-mail is now sent to those working on the project about the revised plan, available for immediate download.

To meet the needs of subcontractors who may not have high-speed internet access or are not computer savvy, please contact CH Construction at 310-453-1938. We would be more than happy to help train you on how to use and adapt to the new system. Please note that you do need to register with the Plan Room before you can get access to documents, however, there is no charge to do so. The only costs incurred to you, is if you should decide to order any printouts. Because of our relationship with Cyber Copy, the reprographer, we are able to extend our deep discounted printing rates.
